One of those days....

You know, one of those days where everything piles up until all you can do is laugh because the pile is so high you know you'll never finish. Well, that's today. So, I decided to write something so at least I'd feel productive.

Besides the incredible amount of work that I have to get done before Monday, my office-mate's last day is today. I've officially taken over the office now, so he should be the one wandering the halls looking for a computer. But instead, he decided that today he would do all the work that he should have been doing all along...and he insisted that he needed my computer (his old computer) to do it. Not like I don't have things to do, what with our boss leaving for the US on Monday, my own trip coming up, documents to translate, plus my regular work. I had to ask him 5 times to transfer a document to my folder on the network and he was being such a jerk about it. I thought I was going to lose it. At which point, he tells me to quit talking down to him or he was going to lose it! Talking down!?! Anyway, being wimpy me, I apologized. Bad move. Until ten minutes ago he was still installed in my office. And the worst part...we had his farewell lunch, and the girls made burritos, with meat. Which means no lunch for me!!

I'm looking forward to Saturday. Or at least to dinner...
